Meet Team St. Croix

Because we know staff are the most important part of a camp experience, we take great care to hire and train qualified, enthusiastic staff. We look for leadership skills, prior experience working with children, decision-making capabilities, respect for the environment and safety awareness.

All staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid. Waterfront specialists are certified lifeguards, and as required, others are certified as an EMT, First Responder or have been trained in Wilderness First Aid.

Favorite spot at camp: The Buffalo Trail which has historically been referred to as the North Ravine - I love the sound of that trail as you approach the river.

Favorite way to enjoy the outdoors: I love to enjoy the outdoors with the people I care about most. Riding bikes all year long and cross-country skiing in the winter are two of my favorites.

Business Development – Theresa Douglas

Favorite spot at camp: I love seeing others experience camp for the first time! Some favorite spots include our chapel/amphitheaters and catching glimpses of the glistening St. Croix River through the trees from the Lodge.

Favorite way to enjoy the outdoors: I absolutely love to be in my garden. I'll visit multiple times a day to dig in the dirt, sit with the soil. I also love playing with the ponies I grew up with on my parents' farm. The smell of leather harness, fresh hay, and ponies at work.
