Changes Coming to Camp Heritage Summer 2024

Camp Start & Ends Times

In an effort to provide consistency and to best serve our staff and families across all YMCA of the North Summer Day Camp locations— Camp Heritage start and end times will shift slightly beginning this upcoming summer.

For families that register for pick up and drop off directly at Camp Heritage the flexible time frames will be as follows: 

• Drop-off: 9:00-9:15am
• Pick-up: 3:30-3:45pm 

*Please note, camp cannot accommodate early pick-ups between 3:00-3:30pm.

For families registered for one of our many bus stop locations, bus pick-up and drop-off times will be adjusted accordingly. 

Service Area Change – Andover

In an effort to best serve our families and communities, the Andover YMCA will be transitioning into the Day Camp Manitou service area. As Camp Manitou continues to expand its reach this change will offer more families who may have previously ended up on waitlists for Camp Heritage the opportunity to attend camp! We invite our families in the Andover area to join in the fun at Day Camp Manitou this summer! Transportation and Before and After Care at the Andover YMCA will be available for campers registered for Camp Manitou.

Please note, due to this change transportation and before and after care will not be provided from the Andover YMCA to Day Camp Heritage. 

Sunsetting

Camp Heritage will be sunsetting bus stops at the Maplewood YMCA and Lino Lakes Community Recreation Center (The Rookery) beginning this summer. 

We invite our families in the Maplewood area to join us at the nearby White Bear YMCA for transportation to camp.

Families previously utilizing The Rookery we invite you to make the beautiful drive through camp for drop off and pick up or sign up for one of our many nearby bus locations.
