Becoming a King Scholar
The title "King Scholar" honors the Peter J. King Foundation's commitment, which makes BOLD GOLD possible.
To become a King Scholar, BOLD GOLD participants must:
- Attend retreats in the Fall, Winter, and Spring
- Reflect on their time in the BOLD GOLD program concerning the pillars of Confidence, Courage, Self-Awareness, Community Awareness, and Wonder.
How it Works
At the end of each overnight retreat, participants will share with the group how they've grown, relating to one of the pillars, to be awarded a paracord loop symbolizing that pillar.
Upon receiving all five loops, you become a King Scholar and are recognized at our Spring BOLD GOLD retreat.
